Verisign asks you to “Make a .TV commercial” for chance to win $10K

How to enter:
Starting Sept. 13, Verisign and .TV — the web domain extension — are calling on video content creators, bloggers and aspiring film makers across the nation to “Make a .tv Commercial” by creating and uploading a 30-60 second commercial answering the question “Why should I get seen on .tv?” for their chance at a $10,000 grand prize.
What is .tv?
Just like .com or .net, .TV is a web domain extension, letting others know from your web address alone, to expect playable content and an engaging online experience. With a .tv domain, it’s easy to let people know that your site is all about video. If your site has a play button, it’s made for .tv
From September 13 through October 23, prospective entrants can create and upload a 30-60 second .tv commercial to the Watch.tv Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/WatchDotTV for their chance at a $10,000 grand prize. Videos must answer the question “Why should I get seen on .tv?”
The contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years old at time of entry. Each video must not exceed 2 GB, must be in English and answer the question “Why should you get seen on .tv?” For full guidelines and restrictions, information on how to upload videos, formats and contest details visit the Watch.tv Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/WatchDotTV
How to win:
Contest judging takes place over two rounds. The first round of judging begins Monday, Oct. 24, 2011. All entries will be judged by a panel consisting of online video experts and representatives from Verisign, Inc., who will narrow the field to 10 semi-finalists based on the following equally-weighed criteria: on-air presence, relevance to theme, originality and creativity.
Starting November 3rd, we’ll post the Top Ten Entries at the WatchDotTV page (http://www.facebook.com/WatchDotTV) for public voting. One vote per person per Facebook account per day. Upon the conclusion of the public voting period, the top three commercials based on total votes will be awarded to a Grand Prize, First Prize and Second Prize winner. Voting will end on November 13th at 11:59:59 EST and we’ll announce our Grand, First and Second Prize winners on or about December 1st, 2011.
