Other info:
Every holiday season there are toys that manage to get on the top of every kids’ wish list. This year the D-Rex Interactive Dinosaur is one of those highly sought after toys. And if you’ve ever seen the D-Rex, you’ll know why.
This incredible interactive remote-control toy moves around, let out ferocious roars, and will respond to the owner’s commands. The D-Rex is also responsive to touch, so depending on D’s mood, you get a different reaction from him (or her!) with a pat on the head. The dino also comes with a cool looking, bone-shaped remote control which helps your young one train it. D-Rex can be taught to “attackâ€, guard prized possessions, pull pranks, and even answer questions with a nod or shake of its over-sized head. In many ways, D-Rex is the ultimate pet for a dino-lover. So you want to win a D-Rex?
Post a comment and tell us about the dino-obsessed recipient who would love it the most. Post a comment by 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, December 11. One comment per person, please; multiple comments will be discarded. ONE randomly selected entry will win the D-Rex.

Deadline: Monday, December 15th at 11:59pm
Prizes:Â Kindle Reader
How to enter:Â Post a Comment
How to win:Â Random Drawing
Other info: Gifts.com is giving away a Kindle! I know that got a lot of you are excited, but I also bet a lot of you may not know what a Kindle is.
The Kindle is certainly one of the more exciting gadgets to come out in the last few years. The Kindle is an easy-to-use digital reader (brought to you by Amazon) which can store books, magazines, newspapers, or other sources of viewable content (including Word documents and images). What’s cooler is that when purchased, all this content is wirelessly loaded onto Kindle, so no computer, cables or syncing is needed. And because of Kindle’s “electronic-paper†display, the reading experience is much like reading a physical book just without the bulk. At just over 10 ounces and thinner than most paper backs, the Kindle can hold about 200 books!
A complete Kindle overview here would take a while, but it’s not an understatement to say the Kindle is a game-changing gadget. Will the Kindle have the same impact on the printed word as the iPod has had on music? It may be a bit early to tell, but it’s not a stretch to imagine a world where everyone has a handheld reader that’s a does-it-all gadget for all things read-able. Bottom line: the Kindle is a great gift for tech lovers and bookworms of all ages. In fact, this gadget is so hot it’s on backorder until February, but we promise the pay-off is worth the wait.
Want to win? Post a comment and tell us who the lucky recipient of the Kindle will be (it’s okay if it’s you!) AND what the will be the first book, magazine or newspaper downloaded. Post a comment by 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, December 15. One comment per person, please; multiple comments will be discarded. ONE randomly selected entry will win the Kindle.
When it comes to educational toys, parents want something that’s fun and effective. So when LeapFrog introduced their new line of learning systems that combined education and technology we knew they were onto something.
One of the superstars of the line-up is the Didj. This sleek handheld features games that kids love and syncs up with a home computer so parents can track what their child is learning. Through the Learning Path, you can see where your child excels, where they need improvement, and customize what games they’re playing to include school assignments.
The TAG Reading system, is another customized device with a portable pen that scans and reads stories out loud or saves them for later so your child can read at his/her own pace and take them on the road. For bigger kids, the updated Leapster 2 and Crammer are great study tools. The Leapster 2 features hours of fun, customized gaming play while the Crammer quizzes kids in every subject and includes a mp3 player.
Lucky for you, we’re giving away one LeapFrog Learning system of your choice. Pick from the Didj, TAG Reading System, Leapster 2, Crammer, LeapFrog Fridge Toys, and the Learn & Groove Toys.
